Join us for the 2nd installment in Art Tooth’s 2019 Art+Chef Mixer Series, a celebratory evening showcasing the exciting artwork of up-and-coming DFW artists, Mouty Shackelford, Madelyn Salas, and Antonio Lechuga. Hosted at Magdalena's, our mixer will feature light, flavor-packed bites created by loved Fort Worth Chef, Juan Rodriguez (owner of Magdalenas), and cocktails at an open bar.

About Magdalena’s:
Magdalena's is committed to bringing you fresh, seasonal ingredients from farmers, ranchers, foragers, and fisherman who are dedicated to a fully visible food chain. Along with catering they also invite you to their Supper Club and Buenos Dias Breakfast Club, both announced at the beginning of each month. A new, seasonal menu is shared monthly, that includes up to five courses for brunch and dinner. About Mouty Shackelford:
Mouty Shackelford was born in New Orleans to a multi-generational family of artists, architects & engineers, so she grew up surrounded by artists and art, structure and design. Being exposed to these varying influences, she embarked on her own journey, creating a body of work that built on all of their elements and resulted in her “Sewn Paint” technique. Mouty now calls Fort Worth home and has shown at venues including Fort Works Art, the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, and the Grackle . She also makes a habit of working with numerous charities including the American Heart Association and the Ronald McDonald House.
About Madelyn Salas:
Madelyn Salas is a Fort Worth Artist and Texas native. Her focus is in mixed media and collage work. She uses vintage magazines and advertisements to comment on social structures and constructs. She utilizes music as inspiration to fuel moods and tones throughout her work, romanticizing the past to touch on current issues.
About Antonio Lechuga:
Antonio Lechuga is a multidisciplinary artist who was born [1985] in Dallas, TX where he currently lives and works. He attended Southern California Institute of Architecture ( SCI-Arc ) in Los Angeles, CA. He has shown previously at the Geometric MADI Museum’s Biennial, Derivatives: Origins in Geometry, Dallas, TX (2011), in the 500X EXPO at the 500X Gallery, Dallas, TX (2013). He was a finalist for the Hunting Art Prize, Houston, TX (2014). The Texas Artist Coalition Members Winter Show, Ft. Worth, TX (2014), at the exhibition titled: Back to Basics at Art7 Gallery, Ft. Worth, TX (2015) He has also exhibited at the 12th Annual Hecho En Dallas
