Prelude to a Dream
‘Prelude to A Dream’ offers the public an opportunity to come and see for themselves in person, some of the most important living contemporary artists in the nation. With time, Fort Works Art has slowly built a powerful roster of artists that is expansive and diverse. This exhibition will showcase these artists and offer only one piece of art by each of them. This will offer the public an opportunity to be introduced to a wide range of new artists, and see the caliber of artists who they would normally have to travel to an Art Fair or New York City to see. This unique exhibition is an example of how the modern-day gallery must constantly shift and grow to maintain its physical working space and relevance. In a world where almost everything is just a click away, and anything that you want to buy just requires the Internet and a credit card, there are still a few things that cannot be replaced. Seeing art tangibly in person is one of those things.

Artes De La Rosa
Brenda Ciardiello
Outsider
Outsider is an exhibition by Brenda Ciardiello which focuses primarily on watercolor landscapes and botanicals. “Fundamentally, the paintings are existential, rooted in the transcendentalist idea of understanding existence and creating meaning through contemplation in and of nature. In that vein, I was strongly influenced by the writings and poetry of Henry David Thoreau and Mary Oliver.”
Endangered Americas
Artes de le Rosa is featuring local ceramic sculpture Stormie Parker, known for her work with endangered species. Her solo exhibit Endangered Americas focuses on vanishing species right here at home in Texas and throughout Latin America.
