Art Tooth is pleased to announce an open call for submissions for their contribution to Fort Worth Community Art Center’s Art in the Dark series. The exhibition will be open February 24- March 28. The due date for entries is February 5th. Contemporary 3D works including but not limited to installations, sculptures, projections, interactive technologies that follow the requirements detailed in the prospectus are accepted. Eligibility is open to any artist 18 years and older residing in Tarrant, Wise, Denton, Dallas, Parker, and Collin County and whose work utilizes light or new media as the main medium of expression. This exhibition will explore manipulation and construction of light and/or new media to alter the audience’s perception. Art Tooth’s intention is to showcase North Texas artists who are utilizing new media and pushing the boundaries of work with light as a medium.

A monetary compensation will be awarded to the winner(s).

Artists will submit a design plan utilizing their work(s) in a 820 square foot gallery with the following dimensions:

Submissions open January 5, 2018 - February 5, 2018.

Opening Reception: February 24, 2018 from 7 - 10 pm.
